Wine artisans: Boleslav Mervič

Boleslav Mervič, together with his daughter Cristina, runs JNK winery in Slovenia on the Vipava Valley. They produce about 11000 bottles each year, mainly from white grapes which are turned into a beautiful amber colured wine created by the skin contact during the process of wine making.  The pleasant archaic taste that distinguishes them and their capability to age well makes them a real treat for the palate.
