Not only “classical” marsala. The strength of this territory is its authentic and highly differentiated wine-growing potential. Relegated for too long, in the popular imagination, exclusively in the realm of fortified wine – in itself a very noble example of wine making culture too often overlooked – the Marsala area has proved itself for some years now to be an area of polymorphism skill that the shows its best potential on several fronts: from sparkling to red and white “traditional” wines, and all the way to the historic fortified dessert and oxidative wines. Samuel Cogliati and Giorgio Fogliani will present the territory, and will guide you in a tasting of seven wines of the area, with the presence of four guest vintners of Live Wine 2017.
