Andrea Occhipinti has his vineyards above the volcanic Lake Bolsena, in the northern part of Lazio. He grows only two native red varieties, Aleatico and Grechetto Rosso, from which produces different wines including the awesome “Alter Alea” a white wine obtained from Aleatico red grapes.
