The territory Cerasa
The vineyards are located in the territory of Cerasa. Cerasa has a distance of about 35 km from Palermo and belongs to the municipality of Monreale in Contrada Cerasa, which is between the localitys San Cipirello and Piana degli Albanesi.
The terrains are exposed in east-west in the hills with an altitude of about 450 a 600 m.
The vineyards have an extension of 6 hectares: 3 ha Trebbiano, 1 ha Catarratto, 1 ha Nerello Mascales and 1 ha Perricone. The soil is mainly composed from medium textured loam and medium textured clay loam.
The establishment is certified in organic agriculture since 1996. Since 2005 it is working exclusively in biodynamic agriculture.
