Wine personalities: Stefano Bellotti

Stefano Bellotti from Cascina degli Ulivi, in southern Piemonte, for many does not need introduction, but we shall recall that he was one of the pioneers of biodynamic agriculture in Italy converting his farm back in 1984. Nowadays he is also the president of the Italian chapter of Renaissance des Appellations, the group founded in France by Nicolas Joly to promote biodynamic viticulture in the world. Leading role in Jonathan Nossiter’s film “Natural Resistance”, Stefano Bellotti has a holistic approach to agriculture that can also be seen in his agriturismo and tasted in his wines which come with a distinct attitude.
