Wine personalities: Marco Sara

Marco Sara, best known for his Picolìt sweet wine has, in the last few years, widened his production to include small quantities of precious wines from other varieties typical of Colli Orientali del Friuli region. Refosco, Verduzzo, Schioppettino and Friulano grapes are cultivated in small, scattered lots chosen for their soils and their microclimate. The wine-making process is rigorously artisanal.
